OLIVIA KAGULIRO MULERWA
PhD Student, Human and Social Dimensions of Science and Technology
Olivia is a doctoral student in the Human and Social Dimensions of Science and Technology program at the College of Global Futures at Arizona State University (ASU). Her research focuses on decolonization methods for STEM education. She is currently exploring the possibilities of mainstreaming indigenous African knowledge systems into teaching pedagogies in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), with emphasis on African education systems.
Olivia is also the Assistant Director for Africa and International Partnerships at ASU’s Thunderbird School of Global Management where she currently works to support the school's mission in Africa.
