CATALYST SPECIAL ISSUE
Invitamos a investigadorxs, artistxs, teóricxs y activistas a participar en una conversación transfronteriza y bilingüe que reúna los estudios de ciencia y tecnología feministas y de frontera. Ofrecemos tres registros para releer La Frontera de Anzaldúa: lo más que humano, las infraestructuras y las prácticas estéticas situadas para acercarnos a las tierras fronterizas y sus saberes. El foco geográfico de este número especial son las tierras fronterizas mexicanas y los procesos migratorios y de fronterización vinculados, aunque también estamos interesadas en teorizaciones más amplias en la intersección entre CTS, feminismo, migración y teoría fronteriza.
We invite STS scholars to participate in a transborder conversation that seeks to bring together border studies and feminist STS. We offer three registers for revisiting Anzaldua’s La Frontera in the context of the 21st-century Border: the more than human, infrastructures, and situated aesthetics to approach the borderlands and their knowledges. The geographic focus of this special issue is the Mexican borderlands and its related migratory and bordering processes. We also welcome broader theorizations of the intersection of STS, feminism, migration, and border theory.
